ด้วยองค์การบริหารส่วนตำบลห้วยขะยุง ได้รับการจัดตั้งและประกาศในราชกิจจานุเบกษา ตามประกาศกระทรวงมหาดไทย เรื่อง จัดตั้งองค์การบริหารส่วนตำบล เมื่อ พ.ศ. 2540 มีความประสงค์จัดตั้งและเปลี่ยนแปลงฐานะองค์การบริหารส่วนตำบลห้วยขะยุง เป็น เทศบาลตำบล....
