Air Evac Lifeteam is the largest independently
owned and operated membership-supported air ambulance service in the United States, with more than 150 mutually supporting bases across 15 states.

That is why more than 90 percent of our aircraft are
based in rural areas.
We partner with our EMS and hospitals to solve the challenges of patient logistics and
save lives. Flight crews, consisting of a pilot, flight nurse and flight paramedic, are on duty seven days a week to respond to the scene of an emergency,
or provide transportation between medical facilities.
Approximately 84 percent of Air Evac’s patient transports
originate from a rural area as defined by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.
